Ballantrae Golf Course was designed as a key part of an award winning Adult Lifestyle Community. For this reason, Ballantrae was designed with walking in mind and playability as a theme .The course is still a challenge due to the elevated greens, closely mown banks, chipping areas, strategic bunkering, and many naturalized areas that help create the feel of Pinehurst, North Carolina.

The first Canadian course to have the Audubon International Sanctuary Designation
