Twin Rivers Golf Course
Glovertown, Newfoundland. Canada
Client: Parks Canada
Designing Twin Rivers Golf Course in Terra Nova National Park required a sensitive approach and knowledge of all the environmental issues in the park. The primary issues focused on the protection of Atlantic salmon habitat. While it was essential to integrate the two spectacular rivers, this involved very detailed construction techniques to ensure that absolutely no silt was allowed to enter the rivers or estuaries. When you play over the waterfalls, along the rapids and over the ocean; you can't help but think this may the most spectacular setting in Canadian golf.
